Hurricane Harvey Notice to All Patients
Our prayers are with you and the communities of Texas who have been devastated by the effects of Hurricane Harvey. We hope you and your loved ones are safe. We are trying to meet the needs of our patients and have tried to call everyone who had appointments scheduled this week. However, there are still patients that we cannot reach.
Here are some things you need to know:
- We have limited our office hours for safety reasons
- If you call and the office is closed, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we are able. If you have an urgent need, call the after hours number at 832-922-0203. Due to the volume of calls, you may need to leave a message and your call will be returned
- Call 911 for life threatening emergencies
For patients who have evacuated and need prescription refills:
We cannot send electronic prescriptions to any pharmacies due to a service outage. Our vendor is trying to fix the problem, but it is most likely due to the flooding. We may not be able to refill your prescriptions until service is restored. You need to take your pain medication as sparingly as possible.
If we are able to call in your prescription, please have the name and phone number of a pharmacy near you that is open before calling our office.
Please note: Many pharmacies are closed and patients are reporting difficulties getting prescriptions filled at the ones that are open.

Making an Appointment
Congratulations! You have made the first step in obtaining pain relief. You can call our office to make an appointment during business hours. We are open Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday’s 8:00 am to 12 noon.
Please bring your insurance card and a valid Texas ID (a driver’s license or a Texas identification card) with you on your visit. We may need to reschedule your appointment if you do not have those with you.
Our office will send you two e-mail reminders of your appointment, one 48 hours prior to the appointment and another one, 24 hours prior to your appointment.
We realize things come up and schedules change. Please notify our office as soon as you know you need to reschedule your appointment.
A missed appointment without notifying our office means a missed opportunity for another patient needing to be seen. Unforeseen things happen but after the second “no show” a fee may be applied. This fee is the patient’s responsibility and is not covered by insurance.
We hate them as much as you do but we need to obtain an in-depth, complete health history on your first appointment. The forms are attached and we encourage new patient’s to print them and fill them out prior to the visit. This will help your visit go faster. Returning patients’ will be asked to update their medical history on a one- page form each visit.
Dr. Brown is an in-network provider for most insurance plans. You can call your plan to see if Dr. Brown is a participating provider, or call our office. We will be happy to help you.
Every insurance plan is different, so knowing your plans benefits is essential. We will collect co-payments, co-insurance or any other out of pocket expenses at the time of your visit.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: CLOSED
Our office is closed for lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm
